Game quality update
Fixes, improvements, optimizations. More FPS. Not very exciting?*
But the game feels much better!
*(to make it a little bit exciting, I sprinkled some little features on top)
Big
improved building destruction:
- now things don't hang over space. It was looking pretty bad
- cracks now gradually appear on surfaces as you destroy buildings, adding more visual feedback and tension.
- optimized destruction
medium/ small
- ✨ gas tank explosion is WAY cooler now ✨
- ✨ adding fuel to furnace is WAY cooler now ✨
- you can't push encounter NPCs
- notification prompting to open the map when the game begins. Too many players were dying early because they didn’t realize they needed to search for islands. Honestly... I’m not sure what more I can do! Players are the worst.
- optimized worms
Bugfixes: (so awkward I let those slip in in previous update!)
- fix enemy bullets
- restore missing map icons
- fixed a rare bug where destroying a building with a gold chest could spawn multiple copies of the item.
